Fall 2011 Tryouts to take place September 10th, 2011 5/31/11
HEMPSTEAD, NY - Tryouts for all incoming freshman/non
returning players will take place on September 10th,
2011 at the Intramural Fields. Mandatory meeting for all
new players will take place on September 7th at 9PM in
the Student Center Room 0142

Wisconsin eliminates Pride in Game 3 - 5/22/11
Johnstown, PA - After falling behind 6-0 in the 3rd,
Hofstra was able to fight back in the 5th, but it wasn't
enough as Wisconsin was able to come out with 7-5 win in
Game 3, ending Hofstra's 2011 season.

Pride bounce back, beat Mules in Game 2 - 5/21/11
Johnstown, PA - After the Game 1 loss, Hofstra was able
to knock out Central Missouri behind a 10 run outburst
and 7 solid innings from starter Brian Adler.

Longwood out-slugs Hofstra in World Series opener - 5/20/11
Johnstown, PA - Hofstra pounded out 7 runs on 13 hits,
but Longwood came out on top 11-7 in Game 1 of the 2011 World
Series.

Mancari selected to participate in 2011 DeMarini
Longball Challenge - 5/16/11
After the 2011 Division II World Series, Hofstra first
baseman Jim Mancari will go up against 15 other sluggers
around the NCBA to compete for the Home Run Contest
title in Columbus, GA.

Oneonta, NY - A 5-run 3rd inning capped a 10-run
outburst as Hofstra knocked out Fordham 10-0 to take
home their 2nd District II title. James Yates fired 5
shutout innings in the win.
