     HEMPSTEAD, NY - This weekend's scheduled three game conference series against Cabrini College has been postponed due to rain all weekend. Games will be made up on April 14, 2009 and April 29, 2009 at North Woodmere Park in Valley Stream, NY.

     Hofstra will now open the season this weekend with a 3 game series with Sacred Heart on Saturday and Sunday. First pitch for the Conference opener Saturday is set for 12PM.

     In other action around the NCBA, NYU and Sacred Heart were also victims of the weather but UConn and Rider managed to play, resulting in a 3 game sweep by UConn.
