     HEMPSTEAD, NY - This weekend's scheduled three game conference series against Rider University has been postponed due to wet conditions on University Field. The series will be made up with Rider coming to University Field on Friday April 17 for a single game at 4PM and Hofstra visiting Rider for a doubleheader on Friday May 1 at 5PM at Mercer County Park. Hofstra's home opener will now be April 3 vs. Connecticut College and will open home conference play the following day with a doubleheader vs. Sacred Heart.

      Hofstra will be back in action March 28-29 as they head to St. David, PA to take on Cabrini College at Eastern University. First pitch is set for 12 PM
