a perfect game into the 6th inning of the Championship

Brian Adler delivered a stellar performance on three
days rest, as Hofstra defeated Illinois 5-1 to take home
their first ever National Title.

Bats come back to life as Hofstra eliminates Kennesaw
and advances to championship game - 5/21/12
EAST MEADOW, NY - After a 1 hour and 30 minute rain
delay, Joe Elio hit a two-out grand slam followed by a
solo home run by Michael Nunez and Hofstra never looked
back. Brian Adler picked up the save as Hofstra
eliminates Kennesaw 9-7 and will advance to the 2012
National Championship Game tomorrow night vs Illinois at
7PM.

Errors prove costly as Hofstra misses chance to put
Kennesaw away - 5/21/12
COLUMBUS, GA - Michael Nunez held the Owls to only 3
hits, but 3 unearned runs in the second and lack of
timely hitting cost Hofstra a chance to advance to the
championship as they fall to Kennesaw 4-1. The two teams
will now play in an elimination game at 4:00PM.

9-run second is all Hofstra needed to move to 2-0 in the
series - 5/19/12
COLUMBUS, GA - Jon Raimondo singled twice and drove in
four runs in the 2nd inning, Kevin Miraval gutted a 149
pitch effort, and Greg Brodersen made a game saving
catch in the last inning to defeat Kennesaw in Game 2.
Hofstra now advances to Monday for the first time in
club history.

Five runs with 2 out in the 6th boost Hofstra past TAMU
Corps of Cadets in Game 1 of the World Series - 5/18/12
COLUMBUS, GA - Jim Mancari went 4-4 with 3 RBI and Brian
Adler gutted a 132 pitch effort to give Hofstra the win
in Game 1 of the World Series for the first time in club
history.

Northeastern twice to complete the comeback and advance
to the 2012 World Series in Georgia; their third trip in
four years.
